Fall Harvest Pumpkin Bars

Fall Harvest Pumpkin Bars are 100 x's better than plain old pumpkin pie!!!

Our Fall Harvest Pumpkin Bars are like a cross between pumpkin cake and pumpkin pie. It combines the best of both worlds and then some due the the delcious addition of cream cheese frosting. It is so outstanding that it has taken the place of pumpkin pie at my Thanksgiving table!

Prep Time: 10 Minutes
Cook Time: 25-30 Minutes
Ready In: 1 Hour
Servings: 12

INGREDIENTS

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon ground ginger

1/2 teaspoon ground cloves

1 teaspoon baking soda

2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

4 eggs

2 cups flour

2 cups sugar

1 cup vegatable oil

Icing:

2 cups powdered sugar

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

6 tablespoons butter, softened

1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract

DIRECTIONS:

1. Throw everything into a bowl and beat silly.

2. Pour batter into a greased 13 x 9 pan.

3. Bake 25-30 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.

4. In a medium sized bowl beat all icing ingredients together until well blended.

5. Frost when cake is cool.

*** Toasted coconut makes an excellent topper to our Fall Harvest Pumpkin Bars!!!
